	2015.5.3 Exhibition at Nantes report & Paris The following day, I took a train back to Paris where I am staying at a hotel with a view of the Seine river, and a walk of only 1.4 km to the Tower du Eiffel, which is a very impressive structure and still the dominant feature of the Paris skyline.

	I arrived in France at the DeGaulle airport on Sunday morning, and enjoyed a 3 hour train ride across the Spring countryside in France, arriving in Nantes, in the Loire river valley near the coast on Sunday afternoon. I was happily surprised to see that Spring was well underway with many blooming trees and plants to enjoy.

I stayed at a hotel in Nantes center and took a 30 minute tram trip each day to the exhibition hall in a beautiful riverside area in the suburbs. I had a busy schedule, but had the opportunity to visit the historic castle that was constructed in the early days of Nantes history in the 15th century.

I also participated as one of three judges for a contest for exhibits from guests who submitted their work in advance for a chance to win some nice prizes. I had the privilege of displaying many of my works as the featured artist at the just completed exhibition at Quiltmania's annual international exhibition in Nantes, France. http://www.pourlamourdufil.com/fr/default.aspx

	I enjoyed meeting many new friends from all corners of France, many other European countries, Australia and the US. And I was very pleased with so many comments like magnifique! :)

	The French people have been welcoming and kind.

Yes,I enjoyed many experiences. the most interesting was the louis vuitton foundation museum that opened in 2014. I want to return to paris soon to visit it again!!
